If using a blank application group in a virtual circuit as a filter, the appliance will crash.
Exinda Virtual Circuits allow the use of various filters to determine the traffic that will fall into it. These filters include network objects, or applications.

If using an application group which is 'blank' - that is, there is no applications in the application group - the device will log the following messages, and then crash:

kernel: [ 3228.664806] Command error before '0 61438 0 0 2 0' (line=7 field=6): <22> SETPOL: Invalid application
kernel: [ 3228.664867] Command error before '0 61438 0 0 2 0' (line=67 field=6): <22> SETPOL: Invalid application

The root cause is unknown at this time.
Ensure that any virtual circuit application group filter is not blank by navigating to Configuration > Objects > Applications, and then the "Application Groups" tab.If the application group is blank, it will just show the header name of the application group.
